A WALK IN THE WOODS
A collaboration with Mowat & Co Architects and Joss Stoddart.
Hambledon Vineyard Tasting Table
A project commissioned by Berry Bros. & Rudd, Britain's oldest family owned wine and spirit merchant, established in 1698 which holds two Royal Warrants.
We were selected by Mowat & Co to produce a monumental and ambitious Tasting table for the Hambledon Vineyards recently competed private tasting room using hyper local timber, meticulously hand selected with full Provence. Opting to celebrate native timbers we selected English Sycamore as a top and English Walnut as a frame to stand firm for many generations to come.
The workshop is a place of practice — a space where transformation begins. From a large and often weighty mass of nature, form slowly emerges, guided by hand, instinct, and patience. No two pieces can ever be the same.
We offer a unique and thoughtful service, championing British craft while tailoring each creation to the individual and their needs. Rooted in a nature-first philosophy, our designs celebrate the inherent beauty of wood. We invite our clients to be part of the journey — to shape, refine, and realise a piece that is truly their own.
